My Staggerwing Beech N18BJ (That's me in the cockpit)
The Staggerwing is a fully hand built 1943 retractible gear bi-plane that Walter Beech built to bring personal, fast and comfortable flying to the masses. It is fast by today's standards. It will carry 5 people in closed cockpit comfort at a max speed of 211 MPH. It got it's name from the fact the two wings are "staggered", with the top wing aft of the lower wing to enhance flight characteristics.
